The Thomas Merton Center maintains an account for this cause, as they do for many special-interest groups. (For more information about the TMC see www.thomasmertoncenter.org) They're a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, so the contributions are tax-deducible. There are several alternative ways to contribute:

- Write a check to Thomas Merton Center. In the memo portion of the check write "Democracy Now" so that they know what to do with the money. Mail the check to:

Pittsburgh, PA 15224- Call the TMC at 412-361-3022 and give them your credit card number over the phone. Tell them the donation is for the Democracy Now campaign.
- Go to the TMC's home page and click the link to "Donate On Line" on the left. You'll find a form to fill out, where you can enter a credit card number. There's a "project" field. Be sure to pick "Pittsburgh Campaign for Democracy Now," otherwise the donation won't get to this cause.
